Software Engineer
Hello! I’m Adhuresa Sylejmani.
3rd year computer science student, passionate about software engineering, having led multiple Senior class projects to completion. Proficient in a range of modern technologies including Php, Java, DBMS, html/css/javascript, ReactJS and NodeJS… Winner of 3 distinct scholarships for IT students.
The first support group community in Kosovo. My tasks were various, starting with paperwork to create an NGO, organizing events, finding volunteers, finding spaces where events would be held, social media management, inviting therapist, creating an environment where the others felt comfortable, not judged, and willing to share their problems and ask for help. This is voluntary and non-profit activity.
Helping to promote the values of non-formal learning, volunteering, active citizenship, and democracy for the creation of a better future for young people. This is voluntary and non-profit activity.
Successfully co-organized and hosted TechUp event aimed at connecting students with industry experts. Facilitated discussions and presentations aimed at increasing students' awareness of challenges and opportunities in the IT field.
Major focus: Software engineering, Web development stacks, DBMS
o Created the high-level design of a system that allows professors to evaluate student assignments. The students would use the system to upload tasks and check the scores. Designed the database based on the requirements and implementation of the project back-end code.
o Technologies used: PHP, MySQL,HTML, Javascript, CSS, Microsoft visio.
o Design the high-level procedures, design the database and implement the code for creating an application that helps car dealers sell their cars.
o Technologies used: Java, MySQL
o Design and build components that interact with users. Primary focus on the user experience with goal of rendering the entire interface elegant, easy to use, fast and secure.
o Technologies used: HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
